The course focuses on key literary and theological themes and the relevance of those themes to the people of God then, the place of these books in wider story of God’s relationship with his people and why these books matter to God’s people today. Particular attention is given to the ministries of the prophets Elijah and Elisha which are found at "the heart of Kings.”
