I am looking to rent our basement apartment, or ‘garden apartment’ as my wife liked to call it, an ideal situation for a couple attending Covenant Seminary. I am located just a 4 mile or 12 minute drive west of the seminary just off Hwy 141.
Lovely outdoor steps on the East side of the house leads to a small patio and the private walk-out French doors of the ‘garden apartment’ opening onto a large living room with a full kitchen. There is a gas fireplace at one end of the room with two large windows overlooking the large back yard and commons. The kitchen comes with all major appliances; gas stove, full refrigerator, dishwasher, and granite countertops, all recently new. Behind the kitchen is the laundry room with a large washer and dryer. Except for the bedroom, all the flooring is a lovely ceramic tile. Although it is listed as a one-bedroom apartment there is an extra room which can serve as a study, or all-purpose room. There is a small bathroom with a large shower stall which also has heated flooring. The apartment is just over 1100 square feet.
There is parking for one car in the driveway; a second car can park on the street as need be.
ALL utilities are included: heating and water, trash pick-up, electricity and WiFi.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate larger pets.
An all-inclusive rent is $1000 per month
I like to provide housing for students from Covenant as I was a student at Covenant in the 60’s before returning with my wife to work at L’Abri Fellowship in Switzerland. The ‘garden apartment’ would be available from mid-February 2022, or possibly the beginning of the month. Please feel free to call me anytime day or night.
