Description
As part of the Housing department, the Resident Manager serves all residents living on-campus by providing a direct point of contact with residents on behalf of the Seminary and with the Seminary on behalf of residents. The Resident Manager regularly interacts with residents in person, by phone, and by email to answer questions, notify residents about maintenance work, resolve issues, inform residents about housing guidelines, and enforce housing policies when necessary. The Resident Manager coordinates transitions for residents moving-in and moving-out. Administrative tasks may include: assisting with billing issues; receiving, communicating, and tracking the progress of maintenance requests; and obtaining and tracking information on new and current residents.

Requirements
- Must live in on campus in Covenant Seminary apartments for duration of employment.
- Must have excellent communication and diplomatic skills.
- Customer service attitude, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic word processing and computing software.
- Must be able to work with confidential information.
- Available to take calls and regularly respond to e-mails throughout the week and weekend.
- Ability to be on the premises 48 weeks per year, including weekends and holidays. (one weekend off per month and twenty weekdays off per year off with coordinated approval.)
- Two or more years of commitment preferred.
Previous experience in apartment/resident management is desirable. Equivalent management experience will be considered.

Compensation
In lieu of wages, this role is compensated with free rent in on-campus housing.
