Description
Rivendell School, a Christ-centered, K-8 school located in Arlington, VA, is currently accepting applications for a Head of School. This is a full-time role overseeing 17-18 faculty members and 150 students, answerable to the Board of Trustees.
Salary: >=$90K
Requirements
The ideal candidate must be a follower of Jesus and have 5-10 years’ experience in an academic (possibly nonprofit) environment with administrative and teaching experience. A background in managing school finances is helpful but not essential. As Head of School, this individual will exercise a spirit of collaboration, integrity, humility, and mission in her/his leadership, modeling the spiritual gifts of wisdom and compassion in all interactions. The candidate will be willing to sign our affirmation of faith and statement of educational basis.
