Twin Tiers Evangelical Presbyterian Church (TTEPC) in Big Flats, NY is seeking a full- time pastor who will share in our mission and vision and partners with us to achieve them.

As a church we desire to know the Lord through prayer, scripture, education and worship and to show his love through ministry, service, and fellowship. We will show His love to Big Flats and surrounding communities. We will continue to support our mission partners in our area and throughout the world.

Qualifications
• A committed follower of Jesus Christ in full agreement with the EPC Essentials, and the TTEPC mission, vision, and ministry philosophy.
• Possesses an M.Div. and is EPC ordained or ordainable.
• Possesses a depth of knowledge of Scripture based on an understanding that
the Bible is fully inspired by God and the ability to share that knowledge with us
to foster spiritual growth.
• Possesses an active prayer life and can help us in this discipline.
• Congregational leadership skills and a heart for shepherding the flock.
• Ability to develop teams with a commitment to delegate.
• Seeks to reach out to the community and beyond with the good news of Christ
• Possesses a servant’s heart.
• Highly organized and clear problem-solving skills with excellent written/oral
communication skills.
Job description
TTEPC is searching for a Pastor who will further the growth and development of our church. They will lead, enhance, and champion the organizational health and expansion of TTEPC toward Christ’s vision for our congregation.
Responsibilities:
• Guide us in our mission of service.
• Work with community pastoral organizations for prayer, mission and evangelism
opportunities.
• Guide us to reach those who are in need of Christ and prayer.
• Grow a multi-generational congregation.
• Plan and lead public worship.
• Coordinate and oversee adult discipleship.
• Shepherd the members and attendees.
• Moderate session.
• Visit the sick and shut-ins.
