Description


Provide leadership and direction for youth by faithfully seeking and following God’s will for the ministry, by clearly understanding and communicating where God is taking NCF and the youth ministry in the movement of His kingdom, and by ensuring commitment to the mission, vision, and core values of the church and the ministry. Guide and work with others to best address the needs of the people being served and to meet the goals identified for the youth ministry. Serve as a mentor and role model for others on the ministry team by consistently applying the concepts and practices taught in our Core Values, by loving people through practical involvement in the work of the ministry, and by embracing the reconciliation process.



Salary: $30K-$59K

Requirements



  • Evident relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Minimum two years of part-time or full-time ministry in a congregational setting
  • Practical experience leading youth programs. This includes a proficient understanding of challenges and needs of middle schoolers and high schoolers
  • A genuine desire to encourage students in their walk with Jesus Christ, and support them to develop their love for Him and others
  • Must understand, support, and protect NCF’s mission, values, and culture
  • Must have an encouraging, positive attitude, good oral and written communication skills, solid organizational skills, and have a heart for ministry with strong relational skills; creativity; an ability to motivate others, and counsel/provide guidance to congregants and staff
  • Good computer skills, and proficiency with social media
  • Available to work extended hours, evenings, over weekends and public holidays, and on short notice, as needed
  • Theological training - minimum in seminary currently
