Purpose: This position will provide leadership in the avenues of musical worship, organization and communication. In essence, we are looking for a worship pastor with administrative gifts.
Character: The job of the pastorate is less about personal proficiency, and more about personal holiness. What you do must not precede who you are. Job responsibilities are important, and the expectation is these will be carried out; but the core of your job cannot be summed up in what you must do, but who you are becoming.
Culture: Currently, we are not a Sunday-centric church. We believe that Sundays are important, but we believe that they exist to propel us out into mission to our city. The gravitational pull of Sundays is strong, but we are committed to low-budget, low-production, highly relational environments that invite the Spirit to move, and compel us outward. We don’t merely have a vision for our church, we have a vision for our city.
