Description

A Scribe consultant’s primary responsibility is serving as a writing coach for Covenant students. Consultants work 8-10 hours/week with most of those hours held at the Library on campus. Hours are determined based on a consultant’s availability, making it a great fit for working around classes.

Following training, consultants hold coaching sessions with Covenant writers, host a Community Writing table in the Community Center, and assist with producing workshops and events aimed at promoting strong writing, thinking, and communication skills. We also love to create space for consultants to research and develop resources based on their interests in writing, education, and communication for the benefit of the Covenant community.

A Scribe consultant does not need to have been an English major or speak English as their first language. As we serve students from many backgrounds, academic and global, we benefit from having diverse educational and cultural backgrounds on our team.
