Description
Hours: Average 15/wk
Schedule: Flexible between 8am - 5pm. Some non-traditional hours may be required based on event schedules and the needs of the Advancement office.
Salary: Starting at $13/hour with increases available
This position will support the Advancement office of Covenant Seminary and report to the Associate Director of Donor Relations. Responsibilities include identifying, contacting, and recording interactions with donors, overseeing mailings, managing office volunteers, and supporting the needs of the Advancement Team. Responsibilities will include maintaining and updating donor records, making donor thank-you calls, writing cards/letters, completing donor mailings/receipts, assisting with large events, and performing other duties as assigned.
- Donor Records: This position will keep donor records accurate and up-to-date, entering information from gift officers, staff, and faculty into the seminary's CRM.
- Donor Contact: The Development Coordinator will identify donors to be contacted by a team member in the office, a student volunteer, or themself. This includes preparing contact sheets and gathering the necessary materials/information needed to complete the calls or written cards.
- Donor Mailings: This position is responsible for preparing and mailing development materials as assigned.
- Administrative Tasks: The Development Coordinator will routinely complete various tasks such as filling out check requests or reimbursement requests, filing paperwork, gathering materials for events or travel, etc.
- Events: This position will participate in facilitating seminary events, including:
- Board of Trustees Meetings
- Development Fundraising Seminars
- Donor events
- Men's study
- Ladies study
- Student Scholarship Events
Salary: Hourly

- Team Player: Abel to consistently follow directions, execute tasks, and work with others to effectively achieve shared goals.
- Administrative Skills: Fluent with MS Office applications.Must have good self-discipline with the ability to develop and follow a plan. Experienced with mass-communication applications a plus. Project management and operational experience a plus
