Description
I. Preaching & teaching: The pastor will conduct Sunday worship services. They will also provide leadership in planning & executing adult & children's educational programs. They will lead the congregation in effective program planning to fulfill the Great Commission with vision, purpose, & priority.
II. Strategic Leadership & Planning; The pastor is responsible for strategic planning & staff coordination in the execution of the church's purpose They will define strategic goals & vision as a key leader among staff & elders & implement the plan.
III. Staff Supervision & Development: The pastor serves as director to ordained & lay staff & lay volunteers, & leads, evaluates, & mentors existing staff in their respective areas of ministry.
IV. Administration: The pastor oversees & executes the administration of the church through appropriate staff & lay leadership teams, & ensures the completion of ministry, business, facility & logistical support functions through staff & lay volunteers.
V. Evaluation & Compensation: The pastor will file monthly reports to the Session on ministry accomplishments & activities. The Personnel Committee will conduct, annually, a performance evaluation & review of the compensation package.
Salary: $30K-$59K
