Description
Rosebrook Presbyterian Church seeks a highly organized and dedicated individual for the position of Women’s Ministry Coordinator. Together with the lead pastor and co-planter of Rosebrook, the Women’s Ministry Coordinator will champion the vision and mission of Rosebrook, and will eagerly collaborate to equip the women of Rosebrook for the mission of God in a post-Christian culture.
Salary: $30K-$59K
Requirements
Candidate Qualities:
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work both independently and under specific direction of the lead pastor and co-planter.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Plan and initiate new discipleship opportunities for Rosebrook women under direction of the lead pastor and co-planter
- Schedule and engage in weekly visitations of Rosebrook’s women, provide counseling, shepherding, and spiritual encouragement
- Participate in staff training and meetings including weekly meetings and seasonal retreats
- Facilitates workflow, promotion, resources, and volunteers for women’s events, in coordination with the Rosebrook events team
- Occasionally teach church-wide adult Sunday school classes and missional communities
- Occasionally lead church-wide programs that address women’s issues
- Participate in the programs of Rosebrook - attend Sunday worship, be involved in a missional community (i.e., small group), take part in volunteer opportunities… all the things a regular Rosebrook member would do!
What We Are Looking For:
- Strong understanding of the historical barriers women face in the church and ability to apply gospel-centered and contextualized solutions, particularly in BIPOC settings
- Ability to teach the Bible in individual and group settings
- Experience discipling women cross-culturally with special attention to race, age, neurodiversity, and socioeconomic status
- Ability to contextualize the gospel to both Christians and non-Christians
- Excellent organization and administrative skills
- Comfortable providing, seeking, and hearing feedback
- Resourceful, effective problem solver
Basic Qualifications:
- Become a member of a PCA church
- Seminary graduate or open to enrolling
- Able to graciously work with Christians and non-Christians at all levels, fostering a spirit of grace and a desire for growth
- Able to work entrepreneurially in a multi-ethnic and multi-generational church
- Managerial experience is a bonus

Remuneration/Benefits:
- $40,000 to $45,000 per year
- Part-time (up to 30 hours/week). Open to full-time in the future with potential for growth
- Four weeks of paid time off to be utilized for sick leave, vacation, personal days, leave, study leave, etc.
