Description

Title: Youth Pastor

Reports To: Pastor of Families (primary), Senior Pastor and Session

Church Overview:

Redeemer Church is a Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) congregation located in Evans, Georgia. Evans is a growing suburban city just outside of Augusta. Redeemer was particularized in 2003 and since then has grown to a membership of over 400. The youth program currently serves an average of 40 young people weekly. There is tremendous opportunity for growth as the congregation has approximately 75 middle and high school aged students with an additional 40 elementary aged students poised to enter the ministry in the coming years. We are seeking to fill this position as our previous youth pastor of 5 years accepted a call as a solo pastor at another church within our presbytery. Redeemer’s mission is to glorify God by reaching people for Christ and furthering the Kingdom of God in and through the lives of His people. We seek to accomplish this by ensuring God is worshiped through the proclamation of His Word in an environment where families are strengthened, and believers are equipped to impact those in their lives. We invite you to learn more about our church by visiting www.redeemerevans.org.

Youth Ministry Vision:

Redeemer Youth Ministry serves as an extension of the church in partnership with parents to transform our youth with the good news of Jesus Christ in the aim of forming spiritually mature adults with a selfless, confident, gospel identity and mission.

Our desire is to pour the message and love of Jesus Christ into our youth with the hope that they will be transformed by the Holy Spirit and go and do likewise for others now and throughout their lives. We are transforming to transform!
