Description
Pastoral Residents are full time, two-year employees at WCPC. Residents will gain real experience in pastoral ministry, while also receiving mentoring, coaching, and shadowing opportunities. Our hope is that residents would leave WCPC ready for a life of fruitful pastoral ministry. Men and women are encouraged to apply. And residents do not need to be presbyterian, nor have a desire to be ordained as presbyterian.
Salary: $60K-$89K
Requirements
- Growing and deepening faith in Jesus Christ
- Completed Master of Divinity, or on pace to finish during Residency
- Giftedness in pastoral ministry
- Maintain a life of integrity that reflects a genuine faith in Christ
- Proactive & Intuitive
- Creative problem solver
- Self-starter able to work independently
- Team player
- Able to prioritize and multitask when needed.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
