Description
Assistant Pastor for Youth.
-Introducing High School and Middle School students to Jesus Christ.
-Helping those who already follow Jesus to grow in their faith and integrating them into the life of the church.
-Leading and providing guidance to a team of volunteer leaders.
-Providing leadership for Sunday morning ministry, Sunday evening Large Group, weekly youth ministry, and summer camps/missions.
-Going into the mission field, attending extra-curricular activities at schools as you build relationships with students and their families.
-Preaching 3-4 times a year.
-Being part of an existing team of ministry staff that enjoy one another and advancing the Kingdom of God together (Staff turnover is extremely low).
Salary: $60K-$89K
Requirements
-The successful candidate shall have a personal faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
-A lifestyle that honors the Lord.
-Be ordained or ordainable in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
-Experience in student ministry leadership.
-Enjoys working with a multigenerational team of staff and volunteers.
-A valid driver’s license is required.
