Description
The Assistant Pastor for Family Discipleship shall oversee ministries for the children and youth of Westminster in a manner that encourages, supports and complements the ministry of discipleship and instruction that is Biblically given to their parents. The AP shall work with the Senior Pastor, ministry teams, and other staff to integrate these ministries into Westminster's vision to know God in his glory, grow in grace together, and show the Gospel to others. Additionally, the position will include oversight and coordination of the effective use of digital and communication tools in the work of the church. The AP will assist the Senior Pastor at times in corporate worship including preaching as requested by the Session or Senior Pastor.
Salary: $30K-$59K
Requirements
Master of Divinity, or equivalent degree, from an accredited theological seminary or in pursuit of said degree on a track to licensure and ordination in the PCA. The AP must affirm the constitutional documents of the PCA. Complete job description supplied upon request.
