Description
Global Counseling NetworkTM (GCNTM) is a leading, faith-based counseling organization with a global footprint seeking an Intake Coordinator to support its essential client intake process. Qualified candidates will share GCN’s values and faith perspective, affirm GCN’s statement of faith (available on website: globacounselingnetwork.com), be well spoken, well organized, self-motivated, flexible, and see themselves as an integral part of the organization’s operation. The position will primarily facilitate the client onboarding process, helping clients complete each step of their intake and pair them with a GCN counselor.
This contracted, part-time position is a critical, front line, client facing role that communicates our ethos, expertise, and empathy to new clients. Responsibilities include interfacing directly with clients to clarify needs and preferences, sending and confirming completion of onboarding paperwork, and facilitating the counselor selection process. Candidates should be prepared to take ownership of their responsibilities, take pride in their work, maintain the highest integrity, consistently produce high-quality results, and work well with others.
Salary: Hourly
Requirements
Excellent communication skills (written and oral), flexibility, empathy, strict confidentiality, and detail orientation are required. Undergraduate or graduate degrees in psychology, counseling, social work, as well as experience in the mental/behavioral health field are preferential.
