Description
- Champion a compelling vision for biblical counseling rooted and based on biblical convictions through adult education seminars, classes, and courses.
- Equip and mobilize elders, pastoral staff, and various leadership teams to shepherd and care for the church through existing ministry programs and in personal discipleship.
- Recruit, train, equip, encourage, and oversee a growing team of biblically trained, gifted and called men and women to serve as lay mentors who can be assigned to help a specific individual or family unit during and after the crisis.
- Cultivate a church culture in which congregants lovingly care for one another’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Act as the point person in caring for the health of marriages, including overseeing pre-marital counseling classes and marriage seminars.
- Develop new pathways and strengthen existing pathways that aim to connect each member and attender of College Church into meaningful community and shepherding relationships.

Requirements
Applicants should preferably have:
- advanced seminary studies in both theology and counseling
- 10+ years pastoral care, visitation and counseling experience
- Wholehearted agreement with the College Church Articles of Faith and Standards of the Christian Life.
