UrbanReachSTL has been on mission to share the Gospel to disadvantaged children and families living in public housing in St. Louis City. Entering into our 8th year in Columbus Square, our organization is seeking 2-3 summer interns to join our team.
UrbanReachSTL runs an 8-week Bible Club for the community M-F. Interns would assist with all aspects of Bible Club including, but not limited to:
- assisting weekly mission teams
- leading stations (songs, bible lesson, crafts, games)
- craft prep
- snack/lunch distribution
- participate in a weekly bible study with leadership team and interns from the community
- assist with Wednesday evening community BBQs
- Tuesday afternoon worship and prayer with mission teams
- Wednesday afternoon field trip with a small group of kids
- canvassing the neighborhood
- End of Summer Camp at Strong Tower Ranch Aug 9-11
- Be a consistent familiar face for the community during summer months along with our leadership team
- have fun!
Interns would be fully supervised by our leadership team daily. Our mission is to share the Gospel and bring light into a difficult place. It will be your favorite summer!

Requirements
- Christian
- Have a heart for inner-city missions
- Dependable & flexible
- 8-week availability (no Bible Club July 1-5)
- Provide unconditional love to the hurting
- Tolerant to summer heat (everything we do is outdoors to be visible in teh community)
