Description
Covenant Café is now hiring baristas for the upcoming Fall and Spring semesters.
Responsibilities
- Provide a joyful customer experience
- Preparing an assortment of coffee beverages
- Complete Café opening and closing duties
- Operating cash register system and serving customers
- Stocking products for sale in displays and refrigerators
- Stock Community Center with Utensils and Napkins
- Cleaning work area throughout the day
Hours:
- Position is approximately 10-15 hours / week.

Requirements
Basic Requirements
- Service-oriented: demonstrates awareness of customer needs
- Competent use of cash register
- Clear communicator
- Self-directed: use good judgment and take responsibility for oneself and one’s actions
- Professional: maintain poise under pressure
- Previous barista and/ or food service experience is preferred but not a requirement.
- Opening shift availability is required.
- Compliance with policies and safe food-handling regulations
