Description
The ideal candidate will be charged with the oversight of ministries pertaining to the covenant youth of Reston Presbyterian Church (6th-12th grade).
Contact work: Regular and in person (weekly) time with students. (Relational Discipleship)
Meetings: Lead weekly Sunday morning courses for both fall and spring. (Catechize)
Trips: Oversee the planning and running of summer trips and special retreats.
Communication: Send out regular communications to parents and to the church regarding the student ministry (Vision)
It is a part-time position 20 hours per week ($23/hour).

Requirements
Qualifications
Personal: We are looking for a gifted communicator who has the ability to relate and minister to students. This candidate will need to be strong in administration to be able to plan and run the student ministry (6th-12th grade).
Theological: We are an Evangelical, Presbyterian and Reformed church. The candidate must have a basic understanding of these core doctrines and in agreement with these beliefs.
