Description

Holy Communion is looking for someone to help 8-10 hours weekly. The Hospitality Attendant's primary function is to prepare for Sunday worship services and help with Sunday operations. Weekly duties will look like the following.

Sundays:

-Turn on lights before services/turn off lights afterwards

-Table setup

-Place Handicap signs in front/bring in afterwards

-Setup and prepare coffee & tea/clean up afterwards

-Assist with food setup & clean up

-Run dishwasher/put away dishes

-Make sure bathrooms are stocked with soap, paper towels & toilet paper

-Ensure leaves are blown/all sidewalks are shoveled & salted

Wednesdays:

-Ensure leaves are blown/all sidewalks are shoveled & salted (Bible Study & Eucharist on Wednesdays)

-Turn on lights before service/turn off lights afterwards

-Place Handicap signs in front/bring in afterwards

Weekly Duties:

-Blow leaves/shovel & salt sidewalks as needed

-Water flower beds and setup sprinklers for lawns as needed

-Update church sign as requested

-Order & restock supplies as needed (paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, soap, cups, etc)

-Replace light bulbs as needed

-Laundry as needed

-Event setup as needed

Qualifications:

Holy Communion is looking for a reliable and responsible individual who will be on time, consistent, respectful of parishioners, clergy, and church property. This person will need to have reliable transportation and the ability to physically move chairs, shovel, climb a ladder to change light bulb, etc.

Sundays and Wednesdays are required (half days needed beginning in the morning), but the rest of hours are flexible based on needs & weather. For example, if snow or ice is expected, salting the property is needed.

Hours: 8-10 hours per week

Salary: $160 per week

-90 day probationary period
