Position Details:
We are currently seeking a full-time Assistant Pastor of Worship and Youth Ministry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for worship, a heart for youth ministry, a desire to develop as part of a ministry team, and a calling to serve in a small-town setting. The person who fills this position will report to the lead pastor.

Requirements
Responsibilities: Worship
- Coordinate with preacher to select music for Sunday worship
- Worship music selection must be biblically sound and theologically faithful to the reformed tradition
- Create liturgy that is theologically robust and accessible to non-Christians
- Recruit, train, and lead a volunteer team of musicians to accompany worship
- Prepare projection slides for worship services which include lyrics and all the elements of the order of worship
- Plan and lead music rehearsal before each service
- Encourage congregation singing and participation in worship
- Plan and oversee special services such as Good Friday and special events as needed
Responsibilities: Youth Ministry
- Develop and implement a comprehensive youth ministry for middle and high school students
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteer youth leaders
- Coordinate, plan, and participate in youth summer camps
- Organize and facilitate periodic youth events and activities
- Teach Sunday School to middle and high school students
Other Opportunities:
- If desired, preach at least 6-8 Sunday morning sermons per year
- Attend monthly session meetings and stated presbytery meetings
- Assist the session in visiting church members, shepherding, and evangelism

Three Rivers Presbyterian Church (PCA) is located in Grove, OK. Our core belief is that “Grace Changes Everything.” We are a relatively new church in the area seeking to provide a reformed gospel witness in Northeastern, Oklahoma. We are committed to worshipping God, making disciples, loving our neighbors, and serving the church. While small in size, we have a strong budget and cash reserves. We are developing plans to expand and remodel our current church building to allow room for growth. Bringing on an assistant pastor would enable the church to focus on expanding our youth outreach, which is important to area families, and to have greater consistency and continuity in Sunday morning worship services.
