Nakwon Presbyterian Church is a local church of the Presbyterian Church in America located in Dresher, PA in the northern suburbs of Philadelphia. We are currently seeking a part-time English Ministry Pastor or Director whose primary role is to oversee the English Ministry and aid in carrying out the vision of Nakwon.

                                                           

Roles and Responsibilities:

Plan and lead all aspects of the English Ministry (includes elementary, youth, and young adults)

Lead Sunday worship

Disciple students and members

Recruit and train teachers/volunteers

Manage ministry-related administrative duties

Plan and lead special events (e.g., graduation service, Christmas presentation, VBS, retreats, trips, etc.)


Benefits:

Stipend or salary commensurate with experience

Vacation time from ministry duties

Salary: $0-$29K

Requirements


Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in or have completed an M.Div. or other related theological master’s degree at an accredited evangelical seminary.

Must be fluent in English. Korean proficiency is preferred, but not required.

Able to teach in a gospel-centered manner.

Has a gospel-centered philosophy of ministry.
