Description

Position Summary

WPC is looking for a Pastor/male Director of Student Ministries to lead our youth toward glorifying and enjoying God. The WPC youth group is intended to be a fellowship where every young person is taught and encouraged to have a personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We want our youth group to be an enthusiastic environment based on the Word of God. The goal is for our youth to 1) develop healthy relationships with God, with the church, with their family, and with their peers; 2) apply the Lordship of Christ in every area of daily living; and 3) work toward true discipleship (being a disciple and becoming a disciple maker).

WPC’s Student Ministries’ Mission

WPC’s Student Ministry seeks to teach, equip, encourage and care for the youth of our church and community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We want to build strong relationships with youth that center around the Gospel. We are committed to helping students discover who God is, understanding what it means to be a Christian, and equipping them so they can reach and impact others for Christ. WPC’s Student Ministry consists of youth in the 5th – 12th grades. For more information go to https://wpc-hsv.org/students#SM-Mission.
