Newton CRC in Newton, IA is searching for our next pastor. We are a church that is committed to worshiping the true and living God, walking according to His Word, and witnessing to others about Jesus Christ. Newton CRC seeks a full-time Lead Pastor who will shepard us through his preaching and pastoral care. We look forward to growing together with our next pastor, as we follow Christ together.
General position description
Preaching and Teaching: Deliver biblically-based sermons and lead Bible studies. Ensure that the teaching ministry aligns with Reformed theology.
Worship Leadership: Plan and lead worship services, including special services (e.g., Christmas, Easter).
Pastoral Care: Provide pastoral care through visitation, counseling, and support to individuals and families. Conduct weddings, funerals, and baptisms.
