Description
Dardenne Church Students (DCS), the student ministry of Dardenne Presbyterian Church, is hiring a paid Youth Ministry Intern for June-July, working up to 29 hours per week. This role supports our team in students' spiritual growth through events, outreach, and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include managing registrations, coordinating activities, and mentoring youth.
Ideal candidates are organized, passionate about youth ministry, and available on Wednesdays and Sundays, as well as for our mission trip and summer camp.

Requirements
Youth Ministry Intern (June-July)
The Youth Ministry Intern (YMI) will assist/support the Youth Ministry Team (YMT) in promoting youth spiritual development, organizing youth services/outreach activities, and administrating records/registrations, He/she reports to the Director of Discipleship and Family Ministry. The youth include middle school through high school students.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Assist with registrations for youth, parents and volunteers as required for events, classes, and camps
· Assist in maintaining attendance records for youth activities and programs
· Assist in organizing/facilitating/coordinating (attending as needed) youth ministry/outreach activities (group meetings, mission trips, camps, social events, service projects, etc.)
· Support/encourage youth in their faith journey
· Attend staff and DCS leadership meetings as needed
· Other tasks assigned by leadership
Qualifications
· Belief in Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior
· Affirmation of the Holy Bible as God’s Word and Orthodox Christian beliefs
· A heart for youth and their spiritual journey
· Administrative, organizational, communication, and “team player” skills
· Available Wednesdays and Sunday evenings for meetings/gatherings
· Ability to work remotely on administrative tasks
· Basic communication technology skills (e.g. social media platforms)
· Experience and/or some applicable training
