TCW is a growing, gospel-centered church with a heart for worship and mission. We are seeking a talented individual to lead our congregation in Christ-centered worship and mobilize our church to connect with and bless the Wayzata community and beyond. This unique role blends musical leadership with missional initiative, helping us grow in our love for God and love for neighbor.
Status: Full time
Reports to: Lead Pastor
Compensation: higher for those with greater skill and more experience
Key Responsibilities:
Worship Leadership (Approx. 50%)
- Plan and lead Sunday morning worship services in partnership with the Lead Pastor.
- Recruit, train, and shepherd volunteer musicians and tech team members.
- Select music that is theologically rich, singable, and stylistically aligned with TCW’s blended style.
- Lead regular rehearsals and prepare worship teams spiritually and musically.
- Oversee worship service planning tools, presentation software, and sound/media elements.
- Encourage a culture of authentic, participatory, Christ-centered worship.
Outreach & Community Engagement (Approx. 50%)
- Develop and lead creative strategies to connect with new people in the community.
- Equip the congregation to share their faith and invite others into the life of the church.
- Plan and coordinate community-focused events, service projects, and missional initiatives.
- Build partnerships with local organizations, schools, and ministries for shared community impact.
- Support the follow-up process for newcomers/guests, helping integrate them into the life of the church.
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers to cultivate a culture of hospitality, generosity, and mission.

Salary: $60K-$89K
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Will:
- Love and trust Jesus deeply and desire to make Him known through worship and witness.
- Have strong musical and vocal skills, with experience leading worship in a church setting.
- Be able to lead others with humility, vision, and a servant’s heart.
- Understand sound and audio-visual equipment; as well as computers and worship software.
- Possess creativity, initiative, and organizational ability to lead outreach efforts.
- Be theologically aligned with TCW’s gospel-centered and Reformed (PCA) commitments.
- Have a heart for both believers and skeptics, the churched and the unchurched.
- Be humble, teachable, and fun!
