Key Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:


 Ministry Director

o Oversee the regular worship logistics of the SdCS Chapel program

o Preach as often as available. Find pulpit-supply for other Lord’s Days.

o Recruit, train, and quality assure preaching through the pulpit-supply program

o Plan for weekly spiritually-themed worship services around the Word to be preached (liturgy, hymns, accompaniment, sacraments, bulletin).

o Coordinate ancillary chapel programs: fellowship meals, Bible studies, prayer breakfasts, Sunday school, etc.

o Conduct leadership training programs in accordance with Westminster Confession

of Faith standards.

o Progress the fellowship toward becoming a “mission” church, and perhaps a “particular” church. Transitional compensation provided if/when church becomes independent.

o Lead the work of all Core Faculty members as they minister alongside the people of the church.


 Core Faculty Member

o Teach the Hebrew Intro. (10-hour course) on campus/live-streaming (even years)

o Teach the Greek Intro. (10-hour course) on campus/live-streaming (odd years)

o As time permits, and as mutually-agreed upon, other functions for the seminary.


Salary: $60K-$89K

Requirements


Minimum Qualifications

 Education:

o Doctor of Ministry degree (or equivalent Ph.D.) desired.

o M.Div. or Th.M. degree (or Master’s in a related field) required.

 Experience: Combined 5+ years as a preaching pastor and teacher of Hebrew and Greek.

 Certifications: Ordained Minister/Teaching Elder (in a NAPARC Denomination)


Preferred Qualifications

 Qualified candidate should have a thorough familiarization with the history, culture,

theological underpinnings of Sangre de Cristo Seminary.
