Description
We are looking for a Director of Youth Ministries for our wonderful church located in Purchase NY, just north of New York City. Trinity Presbyterian Church was the first church plant of Redeemer Presbyterian Church NY and has deep roots in the NY Metro Presbytery. We need a strong, team-oriented man or woman to lead our youth ministry, someone who has a passion for discipling young people and helping them navigate their faith as they prepare for young adulthood. This is not an ordination-track position, but it has the added benefit of working with a strong and motivated team of pastors and leaders.
Salary: $30K-$59K
Requirements
We are looking for someone with theological depth who is capable of engaging with youth and with adults. A seminary degree is not required, but it is a plus. Proven experience working with young people in a formal ministry or Christian camp setting is required. People skills (i.e. soft skills) such as conflict resolution, team-building, etc are also foundational to this position.
