Description

Westminster Christian Academy is looking for a reliable part-time AV Setup Assistant to set up basic audio-visual equipment each Tuesday evening before our Wednesday morning chapel service. This role involves simple, hands-on setup in Westminster's arena after sports practice (typically around 7:00–7:30pm, depending on the practice schedule). Setup typically takes around two hours; pay rate is $25/hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist with weekly AV setup for chapel services.
• Unload, move, and position AV carts and rolling stands.
• Minimally set up essential sound, video, and lighting equipment.
• Run power cables, extension cords, and power strips as needed.
• Connect basic audio and video power components such as speakers, projectors, and computers.
• Prepare stage elements including instruments, stands, and other equipment.
• Equipment Examples (mostly roll in and plug power)
• Sound system and mixer connections
• Video and projection equipment
• Livestream components
• Stage instruments and accessories
• Lighting elements
• Cameras and receivers

Training will be provided.
