Description
Central Christian School is seeking a part-time (25 hours per week) Facilities Coordinator to further the school's vision and mission by ensuring a safe and attractive school facility and grounds. Hours are year-round and semi-flexible. The position begins in June 2026. More details can be found on this job description or by contacting Audra Christian, Director of Operations. Primary Responsibilities
- Regular setup and teardown for scheduled school events, including daily lunch
- Timely communication with teachers and staff to prioritize and address classroom and facility needs
- Basic maintenance and repair of the school facility, including hardscape and landscape
- Attend to urgent custodial needs that cannot be addressed by our after-hours cleaning staff
- Respond to facility emergencies outside normal school hours (infrequent)
- Collaborate with Central Presbyterian Church’s maintenance staff on projects as needed
- Serve as the main point of contact for our contracted cleaning company and its representatives
- Work with the Director of Operations to search for and hire contractors for jobs outside the scope of basic maintenance, repair, and cleaning
Communication
- Consult with the school’s Director of Operations and the church’s Director of Facilities to coordinate projects that extend beyond basic maintenance
- Maintain regular communication with the school‘s contracted cleaning staff to ensure that cleaning issues are addressed
- Keep up with email, responding in a timely manner

Qualifications
- A profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
- Personally affirm Central’s Statement of Faith
- A member of a local, Bible-teaching Christian church
Requirements
- Hands-on knowledge and experience in the safe operation of a variety of tools, machinery, and power equipment used in performing essential functions
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and efficiently complete activities
- Is a team player and a self-starter who can problem-solve and work independently
- Significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 50 pounds; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; reaching above shoulder level and fine finger dexterity, etc. is necessary
