Primary Objective:
To oversee youth ministry, and other opportunities for preparation for ministry, and assisting the Senior Pastor of the church.
Reporting Relationships:
- The Youth Ministry Intern reports to the Pastor on a day-to-day basis.
- The intern also reports regularly on his progress to the Pastor and Session.
- Attend weekly staff meetings and be prepared to discuss ways to improve and grow the ministry.
Responsibilities as Intern:
- Youth: Oversee all youth related events including, but not limited to Sunday school, Sunday evening meetings, and Wednesday night activities.
- Communication: Oversee any ministry communication to youth and parents.
- Ministry Expenditures: Maintain records and reporting for all expenses related to youth ministry.
- Ministry Events: Attend all youth related camp trips and oversight of volunteers with the ministry.
- Additional Responsibilities: The Youth Ministry Intern will be given the opportunity to plan liturgy, lead worship, and preach occasionally.

Requirements:
- Must have a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ
- Must have a desire to minister to Christ’s church.
- Must be currently pursuing or have already obtained a seminary education.
- Must have willingness to be submissive to the church leadership and the doctrines of the Church.
- Must believe in the mission of Grace PCA.
- Must have an ability to lead and be part of a team and work harmoniously with others.
How to Apply
Compensation & Schedule:
- 20 hours a week (80 hours per four week period).
- $2,000 per four week period.
- Expected to be at church every Sunday, but will be allowed four missed Sundays in a calendar year, accumulated at one per quarter, without any loss in pay. Thereafter, there will be a loss of $250 for each Sunday missed.
