Description

The Pastor will lead a welcoming, multigenerational congregation rooted in tradition and open to where God is calling us next. We are a community that values faith, fellowship, and service, cares deeply for one another, and seeks to live out Christ’s love in tangible ways. This role calls for a leader who is passionate about Bible based teaching, spiritual formation, and community engagement, who will guide worship with reverence and joy, nurture faith across all ages, and help us grow into a vibrant and connected church. We seek a collaborative pastor who brings energy, compassion, and vision and who will help us discern and follow God’s direction for our future.

We are located just outside Washington, Missouri, in New Haven, a small town that offers a strong sense of community and balance. What we value most about living here is the tight-knit, welcoming nature of the area, where it does not take long to feel at home and where you rarely meet a stranger. We have access to good schools that provide strong educational opportunities, and the active local organizations help keep the community engaged and working together in a spirit of unity. Life here offers a slower-paced rhythm that allows space to enjoy daily life, while still providing many opportunities for involvement and service for those who wish to stay active. Above all, the small-town family values create a supportive environment where people genuinely care for one another and where relationships are central.

We are seeking a minister who loves being with people, both in the church and in the community, and who is kind, loving, and curious. We value time together in many settings, including Sunday mornings, where our average attendance is around 120 people, and our total membership is approximately 400.

Salary: $60K-$89K
