Overview:
- In charge of directing our children’s ministry: infant - 6th grade
- Emphasis on choosing education curriculum
- Encourage a community among parents
- Encourage the integration our children into the various ministries of the church
- Able to work for 5 hours/week including Sunday morning service

Requirements
Competencies:
- Able to articulate and demonstrate a deep love for Christ Jesus.
- Understanding of Childhood Development & Education and its implementation in the church
- Ability to lead a team
- Relational, personable, welcoming
- Capable of sustained physical activity/playing
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and coordinate workers for children’s ministry classes and events, worship services and Christ’s Church programs
- Establish and cast a vision in collaboration with the pastor
- Organize, set-up, and stock classrooms with necessary supplies
- Communicate needs with staff and church leaders
- Attend staff meetings as needed
- Develop and oversee family ministry budget
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Pastor that contribute to the administration and life of the church.
How to Apply
This position is fairly flexible in that we are willing to tailor it to the strengths of the candidate, and it can be a part-time position or an internship as desired. We place an emphasis on ensuring the responsibilities are achievable within the 5 hours/week time-frame. Compensation is $5,000/year for 5 hours/week.
