Religious | Anglican Church of North America (ACNA)
Full-Time
Posted: May 25, 2026
Application Deadline: Jun 30, 2026
Description
Immanuel is a growing Anglican congregation on the north side of Chicago. Our mission is to be a Spiritual Beacon church that makes the Gospel personal, tangible and visible for the people of Chicago. We’re shaped by Spirit-filled Anglican worship, vibrant community, and commitment to love our city with the truth, goodness and beauty of the Gospel. Our family ministries are a central part of our Spiritual Beacon vision, not only for our kids and youth, but those in our city without a church home.
The Pastor of Family Discipleship will lead children's and youth ministry, support parents in discipling their kids at home, and build the volunteer systems and discipleship culture that helps those ministries grow well over time. It's a role that calls for someone with leadership gifting, organizational skill, and a love for the long work of pastoral formation.
Salary: Undisclosed
Requirements
Our church culture and staff team that takes spiritual health seriously, that tries to work with honesty and good humor, and that genuinely cares about the people doing the ministry, not just the ministry getting done.
Chicago is a wonderful place to do this kind of work. The city is full of young families, diverse neighborhoods, and people who are far from God and genuinely open to something real. The right person for this role will find that energizing.
How to Apply
We will begin conducting our initial round of interviews on June 1, 2026.
