Description

The Executive Director of Faith Ascent Ministries acts as the organization’s chief executive officer, overseeing all personnel, activities, and performance in pursuant of its mission. The Executive Director is responsible for providing executive leadership for the administration, programs, and strategic plan of the organization. Other key duties include fundraising, marketing, and community outreach. The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors.

• Expressed commitment to the mission, vision, and value of Faith Ascent Ministries.
• Familiarity of issues in Christian apologetics, and youth-oriented ministry.
• A demonstrated life of transparency, integrity, and ethics.
• Nonprofit management or similar professional experience relevant for this position.
• Financial and budget management skills, including budget preparation, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong organizational abilities including planning, delegating, program development, and decision-making.
• Ability to convey a strategic vision.
• Knowledge of fundraising strategies and donor relations unique to nonprofit sector.
• Skills to collaborate with and motivate board members and other volunteers.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee and collaborate with staff.
• Strong public speaking ability.
