Description
This is a non-paid internship position which will fulfill the Field Education component of the seminary curriculum. In this Field Ed opportunity, Student Chaplains will be able to serve in a variety of ways including but not limited to individual counseling, grief support group facilitation, preaching, public speaking, and most importantly, making a deep impact in the lives of individuals through one-on-one ministry and discipleship. Staff chaplains will train, coach and mentor our students in a Christ-centered, grace-based team setting, using a variety of elements important in the chaplaincy ministry, including principles highlighted in CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education) training.

Requirements
There are no skill, ability or experience requirements. Candidates should agree with (preferably be passionate about) the Purpose, Vision, Mission, and Theme of our chaplain department, which are listed below. This ministry opportunity is ideal for somebody who loves to serve relationally and sees him/herself as a future minister or counselor for families or in a clinical setting. Anybody with a compassionate heart is welcome to inquire as we may have multiple spaces.
