Description

Grace Presbyterian Church is a growing, multi-generational PCA (Presbyterian Church in America) church of 300, situated 15 miles north of Chicago, where the local vibe is educated, urbane, family-oriented, and community-minded. You might recognize the area from films either made or set here—Home Alone, Caddy Shack, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Mean Girls

The church is actively connected both to Northwestern University, supporting both an RUF (Reformed University Fellowship) and an RUF-I (Reformed University Fellowship-International) chapter. Grace is also connected to TEDS (Trinity Evangelical Divinity School) with an active and growing intern program. Grace has several strategic mission partners in the city of Chicago.

Grace is hiring an Assistant Pastor (or Director) of Youth and Families. A candidate who thrives in this role will be entrepreneurial, relational, and able to build a systems-based and sustainable ministry that incorporates everyone from staff to congregants. This person must have a heart for God and the gospel, for youth, for skeptics, and for “the rich young rulers of this world” (cf. Mark 10).

If interested, please email a short cover letter and resume to Rev. Nick Swan, Nick@gracenorthshore.org.
