Description
Firm Foundation Tutoring, a ministry of New City Fellowship/Restore St. Louis, is looking for educators with experience in public or private school classrooms, homeschooling, and other educational settings as well as college or seminary students to teach a dynamic and diverse group of elementary students this summer. Come make meaningful memories and reach the nations without leaving the city!
Teachers will be assigned to either our University City OR South City site.
University City Schedule (5 weeks)
June 13-30 and July 11-21 (the week of July 4 is off)
Monday-Thursday
20-hour/week option: 8.30am-1pm (plus 2 additional hours of planning outside of these hours)
30-hour/week option: 8.30am-3.30pm (plus 2 additional hours of planning outside of these hours)
South City Schedule (3 or 6 weeks)
June 13-30 and/or July 11-28 (the week of July 4 is off)
Our preference is for teachers to do both June and July, but we are open to teachers doing one or the other
Monday-Thursday

There will be an orientation for all teachers the week of June 6.

Requirements
- Experience working with children (ideally in an educational setting)
- Availability every day of the program (according to the schedule listed above)
- A heart for people from diverse backgrounds
- An excitement for working as a team
- Ability to pass a background check
How to Apply
Teachers are paid by a combination of a paid stipend plus support raising.
Pay is $20.83/hour (stipend plus support raising)
