Hudsonville Reformed Church is seeking a Worship Leader with a passion for God and a heart for seeing people grow deep in their relationship with Him. The Worship Leader leads and disciple's others to focus on God and engage with Him through worship.

As a Worship Leader, you will be part of a team with unified vision and purpose to grow worship culture into the life of the church. Our worship team encourages attenders to connect with God through worship during weekend services as well as weekly student ministry, young adult ministry, women's ministry, and men's ministry activities and other church events. We also aspire to be part of what God is doing through the local church by serving community events.

What you will do:

• Lead worship in a way that resonates with and invites congregants in a variety of ministry environments to connect with God through worship.
• Lead and provide direction to worship teams during rehearsals, weekend services, and other ministry activities and events.
• Care for worship volunteers and encourage their spiritual development.
• Recruit, train, develop, and mentor worship volunteers.
• Participate in creative service planning with ministry leaders to ensure worship needs are met with excellence and consistency.
• Collaborate with the Pastors and other staff to shape worship culture at Hudsonville Reformed Church.

Who we're looking for:

We're looking for someone who wants to join a team that works together to influence the worship culture at Hudsonville Reformed Church. The candidate authentically models a lifestyle of worship and inspires others to do the same.

The Worship Leader serves alongside many musicians and vocalists who volunteer their time and talent to serve in their ministry environments. Coaching and caring for our greater team is a huge part of what we do. We are looking for a relationship builder who loves to invest in people.

Beyond these things, we are looking for someone who:

• Is a skilled musician, proficient playing one or more instruments.
• Is a strong vocalist with an ability to coach and develop other vocalists.
• Relates warmly to other people and cares deeply about them.
• Thrives in a high-feedback team-oriented environment.
• Has two or more years of experience leading worship.
• Is able to use current technological tools and software (such as Planning Center).

Finally, we are looking for someone who is eagerly committed to following Christ and exhibits a thriving relationship with Him. Candidate should have beliefs consistent with our Statement of Faith, and theologically in agreement with the Reformed Faith interpreted through the PCA (Presbyterian Church in America), which our church is currently in the process of joining.
